This has got to be the funniest two days in forum history

Though I haven't seen much response from the polly side of the fence, I hope they are reading this stuff.

I had a similar thought, Someone, though it was that the forum has offered much better reading the last two days.

As most regulars know, occasionally there is a post that is absolutely hilarious, providing a glorious break from the serious topics we see discussed here. Dieter comes to mind, of course. Some, like al-d provide hilarity unintentionally.

An earlier thread complained that the forum had declined in quality since EY's departure. I disagree.

The last two days have been kinda' fun.

JR Dobbs needs cash for his second lobotomy. The first one wasn't deep enough. Dig?

Mutha Nachu:

Monkey see Nachu poo?

Dobbs was flushed into the loo.

Funny or not, it's provided me with a little personal insight. I won't be doing so much posting here and from now on my predictions for the future aren't going to go much further then beyond my front door. It is just pointless to debate the appearance of the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come. So with that I'm going into semi-lurker status and will be only adding things I feel are soley opinion. I'll rely more on hindsight and less on "what if" melodramatics. I'll be rotating my preps accordingly, and other than that I think I'll be much more optimisic about the future, so long as I don't plan too far ahead. I wish everyone here the best of luck and want to thanks EVERYONE who makes up the content of this forum. It's most educational. I'll be around, just not so visible. Making haste slowly you might say. Could be I'll be doing more and more of that as the days tick away.

And I wanted to say something about the foul language issue. In my opinion foul language can be used very artistically by the right author. You won't see it on the front page of the New York Times but you can bet it's a big part of the newsmaking process. In all respect to the mixed company this forum brings, I think that the F word et al should be used as sparingly and as tactfully as possible. Dieter gets his(her??) point across without the use of profanity, so I think we could all ease back on the "colorful metephors" a bit. Thanks.

You'll be greatly missed. Please "kick into" the debates, theories and occasional flames whenever possible. Get the job done, time IS getting shorter. Good luck......
