Edgar Casey was known as The Sleeping Prophet. He is dead now.

There is a foundation, in Virgina I think, that was started by his children and followers. A.R.E. or something like that?

Several books about him were written. At the moment I cannot find the couple I have here somewhere.

Interesting reading. He could lie down, 'sleeping' and sense a problem in another person of a physical nature and give a 'remedy' to heal the person. Orange juice of certain quantities throughout a day is one I recall. The 'patient' had to drink it slowly over a certain period of time or it wouldn't work. As opposed to gulping it.

He was also able to 'locate' missing people and things just by holding an article of the person or owner. This was done over some distance as well, since not everyone could get to his office.

He made some prophecies about things in the future. I believe some were proven out in time. I'll have to find those books. It would be interesting to read up on him again!

By the way, please do us all a favor and learn to type. The CAPS ON was annoying, but the lower case letters, and lack of correct punctuation is equally annoying. For example, here is a comma , and here is an apostrophe '

Some folk here use their word programs to type up their posts. This allows for the use of the spelling and grammer checker. Try it. Then once you are ready, you can copy and paste.

Very interesting person. When he was a child he got lost one day and saw an angel which asked him what he wanted to do in life. He answered "help people" and the angel affirmed it. It is speculated that's were he got his extra-sensory experiences from. He read the Bible once for each year of his life. Very religious guy.

Did not know about his own "gift" until he got very sick in his 20's and while asleep gave the doctor the exact instructions how to heal him. Anyway it's a long story.

Interesting though.. he was 100% accurate. He would locate people on the other side of the planet, find out their illnesses and give instructions on how to heal that body

It was said that he was tapped into the Akaishrecords. In which everything is recorded.

Really, man, the punctuation is...not good. And even the dreaded Nostradamus (first name Mike) was a devout Catholic, a third-order Franciscan, and pals wid da Pope (Gregory IV?). The problem with the guy is the impenetrable obscurity of his quatrains (necessitated, so he said, to circumvent the clerical censors). We can only scratch our heads and wonder 'what the heck does he mean?!' Although the bit about the 'god of the heavens falling to earth in the seventh month of 1999' is reasonable clear, at least the 'seventh month of 1999 part.' But did he mean an asteroid? Reptile aliens? Or maybe that Cassini, the Jupiter probe carrying 200 pounds of uranium? Well, not long to wait...
