Lot of things you can do to improve this image...firstly the lighting is too harsh...if you waited for the late evening hours or early morning, you'll get a less contrasty picture. There is too much open uninteresting sky in the picture...all 3 elements - foreground, middle ground and background are uninteresting. Arches NP is a great place to find interesting landscapes...I'm surprised you missed the classic views. I'd suggest a good landscape photography book that talks about leading lines and composition techniques to improve.
