The Bilderberg Group refers to one of the top organizations in the Shadow Government (sometimes called RWSG (right-wing shadow government)), which is referring to the trans-national consortium of the most powerful people in the world. They have a long history going back thru the Knights Templar and further (See the book Holy Blood, Holy Grail for more info on their history). These people have been the one-world-government of the New World Order for a long time. They get their name from the Bilderberg Hotel in Europe where they meet.

The primary issue is the existence in actuality (common reality) on Earth today of such an invisible oligarchy, and secondary is whether such a group could have such control, given also the group intent. More precisely is the extent and depth of their influence as a real quantity between 0 and 1 (or use imaginary numbers to range between controlling nothing nowhere and everything everywhere): it's a grey area. It's not 0 and it's not 1. In some ways the influence of the rich are so global that you may not notice it as an individual (given 'peacetime'), but the peacetime analog of the warplaning control is the media control, which includes the psychological attitude and belief programming which is brought into popular culture. These people are trying to forecast how much the world's artificial mechanisms are disrupted by the rollover problem, specifically, the net impact on the economy of Y2k. Y2k Czar, what a laugh, he can sit next to the Drug Czar...and they're looking at Gorbachev for this position which derives its name from the Russian word tsar, which comes from Latin, Caesar. The rich guys are trying to cooperate to support their vested interest, the technological economy. Technology, as an extension of the human sensory-motor systems, serves the purpose of control; it's the tool that converts knowledge to power.
