greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I just logged on this Forum and everything is in huge print! What's goin on? Does anybody know? Is this a Y2K glitch or is a hacker playing games?

Answers

No, just somebody playing with HTML that forgot to change back.

*Sigh*

Folks

Look at the source code. Cherri tried to change the font size in her name on the top. To fix it the thread has to be removed and reposted.

First time I have seen Blinking source code. Is this a navigator thing or what?

I'm using netscape and I clicked on view off the tool bar then decrease font. Worked for me, your milage may vary.

Blinking source code? Did that get mixed up with the Bold I was trying to udse for my name (to make the point I use MY name not the otghers I was acused of). Too bad it was not blinking with colors saying two different things... hmm tust a thought. They do not allow html in the message box, perhaps they shoukd do the name in the "name" box.. hmm wonder about the address box??? I'll let some one else give it a try *grin*

My browser's back to normal now. Cool.

Diane

BTW Cherri... asked you an HTML question on your thread. Actually I'd like to know how you do that.

;-D

Can we PLEASE keep the fancy HTML down to a minimum! A LINK or a BOLD is OK, but this is getting nuts, and everybody is forgetting about the CLOSE part. We don't need to know who got an A+ in HTML 101. Come on folks, don't abuse it... <:)=

Cheri:

Occasionally you and i could get mixed up for each other posting because we seem to have the same typographical signsature. has something toi do with the fingers being faster than the control routine in the brain (at least for me).

I rest my casaed.

Chuck, with me it's the brain going faster than my fingers can type.
