After reading Mr. Decker and Mr. Lane go at it in the previous "code Broken" segment, it occurred to me that analogies our extremely difficult to come by. To use the mechanic and the car analogy does not IMHO address the connectivity of the issue. The other one is the titanic hitting the iceburg, which seems to simplistic. I'm honestly interested in hearing a few other analogies as I think they are very powerful visual tool for those that don't have a clue. Like my entire peer group. Thanks!!

Something like, "How long will your Petunia last, once your water bottle's empty somewhere in the Sarah?" OR "Let's assess the damage created to one's thought processes if thier frontal lobe where to be impaled by a twig" I just read a post on another thread that said, "You folks are doing nothing more than rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic"......now, there's an analogy that really works for me!

ANALOGY'S: Simple one is to illustrate that the thickest chain is only as strong as its weakest link!, refering to interdependency of "all" aspects of life today which requires computers, new or old, compliant or not, and ask: " do you feel lucky, punk, well do ya!". Or ask them how they would of responded if some crazy guy started building an ark, and a hundred years later when it was finished, and his continual warnings, no one but his family got in!!! Remember, at that time no one ever had seen rain before. UH OH!! "Y2K the biggest event since RAIN!" Quotes are mine. Have a NICE DAY.
