Thanks for the link. I just watched the whole thing. The best point raised, I believe, was a question by one of the panelists to the Senate Y2K committee: is it acceptable to the government if a majority of the American public never makes any preparations for Y2K?

Senator Bennett closed the hearing by repeating and agreeing with a comment by another panelist: Y2K could be serious and it's worth preparing for.
