Do these work well together? I'd love to get some feedback.

One is a camera one is a computer system.. I'm not sure I know what your question is, but I just shot a full length DV feature on the PD- 100 and using the fire wire option I have successfully begun editing the project on my Media 100 system, which is run off a MAC.

I use the sony pd100 everyday @ the TV studio I Work for, never had a problem, I also use Cinestream on a G4, lots of ram 640mb and you'll have no worries..

I have a DSR PD100A and I edit on my Apple Powerbook G4 Ti. Currently I am just using iMovie with near future plans to use Final Cut Pro 3.0. As of now I haven't experienced any issues of concern. The Mac does its job flawlessly and I can't say enough good things about my little Sony. They are a good match.
