Where to shoot in Malaysia (for Student)greenspun.com : LUSENET : Photography Singapore : One Thread |
I still a student now, so can't afford far and expensive overseas trip. And so, I'm thinking of going Malaysia to shoot. Any good recommandation? Setting off during end of year.

End of the year isn't a good time for Malaysia due to monsoon, especially the east coast. Anyway, for the west coast, my choice is Taiping (beautiful lake and trees) and Cameron Highland .

I like Melaka, full of color and live. U can stay in the cheap makota hotel and walk to the old streets attractions (quite a long walk but enjoyable)

I agree with the Malacca recommendation though I am sure any place in Malaysia will give you good photo opportunities. Also, if you stay at Makota, in the mornings from 7 - 8 am, from the pier, you can get very dramatic sunrises. I burned 3 rolls there when I was last there.
