a suggestion for the "ugly" webpage you created

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Ask William : One Thread

the one excellent item left off (besides those wonderful frames) is the tag for every piece of text. i know i would enjoy watching those letters...blink...on...blink...off...blink...on...blink...off etc etc i know when i wish to wake up...and i have made all my dew go in...and then excreted....i need something excellent to make me want to get away from the powermac and actually "go" to class...the blinking webpage may push me over the edge to actually go and be social "outside" of the PowerMacintosh G3

Well, first things first.

If you put an HTML tag in a message, be darned sure to close the tag!

Now, on to answering the question...

Heck no. I am not going to start making my pages blink. I don't believe in it. As I said, even I have standards.

Now for those people who want to do useful things like share an HTML tag without it being parsed by everyone's browser, try using the character codes for escaping. For example <a href="foo">Foo Link</a>.
