SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 5, 1999--The 13th annual Government Technology Conference (GTC) returns to Sacramento this month focusing on Gov. Gray Davis' Executive Order on the Year 2000, D-3-99.

GTC is working directly with the State Department of Information Technology and in collaboration with the California County Information Services Directors Association (CCISDA), the Municipal Information Services Association of California (MISAC) and the League of California Cities on promoting the Y2K focus of the conference.

Over 320 leading-edge computer and telecommunications companies exhibiting the latest innovations in information technology solutions and applications for state and local government as well as nationally known speakers and dozens of relevant workshops and seminars specifically addressing Y2K issues will be offered.
