Nice flowers, especially the sharper part. If think there's quite a lot of empty / unsharp space though.

Tom,

Purple ones on the right are Lamium amplexicaule, commonly called henbit (Family Lamiaceae, the mints). The blue one on the left is in the genus Veronica, probably arvensis, commonly called corn speedwell (Family Scrophulariaceae, the snapdragons). I agree that more depth of field would have helped this shot a lot. The colors are lovely, exposure looks right on.
