I love this kind of landscape ... these skies ... golden skies ... I just have a little comment ... the lower valley is coffused with the black cloud in the horizon ... maybe a little more contrast there would be good ... but it4s just a detail ... nice, nice work.

I really like the light off the clouds. And I like the backlighting of the mountains. i would like to see a photograph from about 10-15 minutes later. Would let the sun set a little further, thus decreasing the overly bright spot on the left side. Put more emphasis on the clouds. Maybe things would have moved and the clouds would not have been lit up as well. Only you know that one.

Thanks for your comments...I took several exposures over about 45 minutes and I liked this best due to the colors.

If I had to do it again (this is one of my first pics with an slr) I'd probably try to get a little more of the sky in and take the valley out of the picture.
