Stocking up on Rx meds for cheap

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

You can use your insurance company to stock up. Most insurance plans pay for a 30 day supply of meds but allow refills after only 21 days have gone by. It's April. Start asking for "early" refills now and you can store a couple of month's worth before the end of the year largely at the insurers expense. Wait till december and the pharmacy will have to charge you full price for an extra fill. Also you can fudge quanties by asking you doctor to "up" the dose whether true or not.
