"there is more threat to mankind from war than from a computer bug. "

In the words of PIGLET: "I must admit, I'm getting tired of all this Y2K talk - both sides of it. I think what it comes down to is this: with or without Y2K problems, it's always smart to be prepared for emergencies, but don't be so concerned about what tomorrow may bring. Let's all just live our lives one day at a time and enjoy it! Unless you believe in reincarnation, you're only here once so why waste it worrying, researching, and repeating words you've said over and over again on the subject? I think I've learned alot from this forum - not necessarily just about Y2K, but about myself. I know I don't want to waste any more of my time on this. Look at what people are going through in Serbia! I think there is more threat to mankind from war than from a computer bug." I agree! It's about time we all quit focusing our attention on something we cannot predict. The future is unpredictable!!

I agree. The problem is, what current issue is more interesting than Y2k? What issue covers more territory? Here you have it all: Technology, Psychology, Politics, Economics, Social Theories, Religion, History, Agriculture, the Paranormal, 1001 Conspiracy Theories, not to mention all those useful tips on how to store wheat, kill rats, buy bullion, choose a weapon, build root cellers & drill wells in your back yard.

I can't turn my eyes away from Y2k. It's the best show on the Net.
