From ROM -- install as you would any other application. From Download -- select an application file, and install it to that folder, such as "C:\ACROBAT3. Usually you'll download a zipped version or an executable version that has to be expanded into the desired file.
No easy conversion. You could print out the Adobe stuff, then scan it to a text file. Or, you can just copy and paste, a little bit at a time.

Critt:Access.adobe.com - PDF Conversion by Email
http://access.adobe.com/access_email.html
Converts PDF to either text or html format. You submit a URL and your e-mail address .. it returns a converted file to you shortly thereafter....
Hope this is what you needed.

Critt:Small comment. I just spent two days making programs and interfaces work on W98. Not being particularly religous, I thank God that our important data is only handled on Mac or Unix. We transfer PDF files to one of these for printing. Man, I don't know about you, but I had to try three different sources for a printer driver to get W98 compatibility. The one from MS was not good.
