Vibrant colours that just jump off the screen. Very nice composition, including particularly, the foreground vegetation. The only slight distraction to me is the shadow line which crosses just near its left side. Very nice!

Thanks!

It's always a challenge to get a small web image that comes close to the vibrancy of an original Velvia transparency. I think this comes close though.

It had been raining on and off all morning, which is one reason the colors are intense. I love the rain and shot a lot of last year's fall foliage shots on rainy days. I broke the rules by shooting this close to noon-time (in October). I waited till the wind blew a high thin cloud over the sun for a more diffuse light. No ND filter was needed.

Very beautiful colors. To me the water plants complete this image. I also like the little yellow tree on the left.

Beautiful colors; makes me wonder why I'm sitting here inside. Nice composition and exposure. Well done.

I love the world according to velvia. The greens and blues in this image project a radiance beyond the frame. Enjoyable viewing! Larry Korhnak
