This is a nice photo but the lighting is rather flat. The tree in the water distracts my eye and tends to lead it out of the frame. Reflection photos are good candidates for a split neutral density filter, have you tried using them (this could be used to brighten up the reflection)?

Originally I liked the tree in the water because in the transparency it contains a lot of detail, perhaps it doesn't add to the photo though and I can see what you mean about it leading the eye out of the frame. I haven't been using graduated ND filters yet but I hope so get some as soon as I decide on a filter system. Thank you for your comments.
