Minolta 600si + Minolta 28-85. Many years I have been passing around without noticing that this tree is actually made of two. There also is a crucifix which I avoided [not digitally] since it would be breaking the rules.

I like this simple composition and the simple color pallette. The clouds angle-in nicely toward the trees and the sillouette treatment of trees and foreground support and do not detract. Well done.

Nice!... I like it a lot. It portrays tranquility with it's basic colors and strong silhouette. Just the right amount of cropping and I like the placement of the tree. I've never figured out how to predict the time of day from an image....was this late eve or early morning...and I'd like to know the location please.

This was shot on late evening approx. 5-10 minutes after sunset. Location: North-east of the Czech Republic, nearby Novy Jicin town. Scanned from a slide by Minolta Quick-Scan.
