CHARLOTTE, NC - U.S. REPRESENTATIVE SUE MYRICK (NC-9) TODAY ANNOUNCED THAT SHE WILL HOST A Y2K CONFERENCE ON MONDAY, APRIL 19 AT 6:30 P.M. IN THE McMAHON FINE ARTS CENTER ON THE CAMPUS OF PROVIDENCE DAY SCHOOL, 5800 SARDIS ROAD IN CHARLOTTE.

The event will primarily focus on how local, state and federal government agencies are handling the Y2K situation. Representatives from select private sector companies will also be represented.

Following is a partial listing of federal, state and local agencies that will participate in the event:

Myrick represents North Carolina's Ninth Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. The District includes parts of Charlotte-Mecklenburg, and Gaston, Lincoln, and Cleveland Counties.
