I think someone hacked Gary North's site!

Here's the text in case he removes it... <:)=

I have a 10-week-old puppy. The power surge protector for my computer began making a hissing sound a few minutes ago. The puppy was standing next to it. It was damp.

I hope this is not part of an embedded chip problem.

Is This Y2K Related?

Sysman,

well it figures - if there's one place the pollys hate worse than our little neighborhood here, it's gotta be GN's site.

Yes, I saw that also and thought maybe the anethesia hadn't quite worn off yet.

I thought he was adding a little humor to the post.

...well, at least he didn't drop a live wire in his bath tub...

I thought it was his typical polly in GI clothing incoherent rambling.

Gary North mentioned that he needed surgery because a cat bit him. I'd like to know why anyone would keep a cat around. YUCK!!!

-- Dave (dave22@concentric.net), April 09, 1999.

The cat must have had good taste. For us, fifteen cats in thirty years (eight right now.) NO BYTES BUT TWO BITES FROM TWO NEIGHBORS DOGS. CATS USE BOX, DOGS USE LAWNS (MINE) cats no yuck, Dave yuck. Forgive me. back on topic in future posts. churchorganist bugged by more than y2k. forgive me, gang.

Was that cat-bite surgery or a lobotomy?

-- ??? (roflmao@gary.north), April 09, 1999.

I think the cat should have bitten both hands. That way he couldn't freaken type at all.

Maybe he's just using some good pain killers?

I think the problem is in the P-code. If the Perfect Uninterruptible Portable Power Y-modem interface runs a Power Interrupt Dynamic Dataflow Lateral Exchange program, the power supply will express any free moisture in the form of steam, thus accounting for the hissing.

In other words, if the PUPPY executes a PIDDLE on the UPS, it will get wet and hiss.

rofl Paul, thanks : )

If he starts to write about seeing the powercord turn into a hissing snake and attack the puppy then I guess my pain killer theory might become more of a possibility.

Had to be a tinkle, a steady stream would have been shocking for the poor little guy who seems to have had the Pi** scared out of him by scary G. I have found cats are a good judge of character, and you say one bit him? Hmmm. Dogs will let you kick them and come back when you call them, just to get kicked again. Cats will scratch yoour eyes out. Are GI's Dogs and DGI's Cats?

-- Cherri (sams@brigadoon.com), April 09, 1999.

Church Organist,

The only good cat is a dead one. At least dogs have the brains to let you know when they have to shit. Nuttin worse than a smelly, diseased cat box in the house. More YUCK.

Have a nice day.

Sysman, you really started something here. Why doesn't anyway believe that Gary just has a terrific sense of humor? BTW, since we all love acronyms so much, I can tell you that any surge protector currently in use is vulnerable to transient K9P overload.

Yea Whetherman, I got a kick out of it. Sorry to see that this has turned into an anti-pet argument though. <:(=

Today too, unless GN's personality is changing, or he's still hooked up to the laughing gas.
