You're right, Peter. I couldn't resist. :) I like the composition, myself. The green plant in the upper right corner is a bit distracting, but not unbearable. Cropping it off puts the anole too close to the right edge, anyway.

It looks like it's nice and sharp and that your exposure is right on. These guys have a wide range of tones, and you managed to maintain detail in both the light throat and the dark tail. Great job! DOF is just right for my taste. Some people here might like to see the whole tail, but I like seeing more detail on the anole's skin. The epiphytes are interesting, too. All in all, an excellent shot. See, was that so hard? :) Thanks for posting.

Epiphytes? Aren't those just the buds of the cactus?

Lovely detail on this brown green anole's legs and side. I agree with Joe that showing the whole tail would make the anole's body too much smaller.
