I hope those who are unfamiliar with the old line of the John Birch Society don't get thrown from the path of reason by a recent statement here. I'm referring to the statement that the problems in Kosovo are directly related to the actions of supposed conspirators from the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations,the Bilderbergers, etc., etc., etc. What these people are saying is that certain conspirators have worked together for not just years, but generations to achieve their own particular ends, ends opposed to what most Americans would want. A close look at this will soon show an anti-Jewish sentiment in much of these arguments, though I think that is just a side issue. My father was a John Bircher, and I heard all of these statements from him. It boils down to the belief that everything, and I mean everything in the world can be explained by conspiracies. Conspiracies hatched, in many cases, by our own leaders through their memberships in certain nefarious organizations like the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). That George Bush and other patriotic Americans belong to such organizations doesn't bother the conspiracy buffs one hoot. I suggest that if you follow their twisted and hate-filled logic, you will become just like them. I saw what it did to my father, and I don't wish it for you.

thomas, I suggest that if you read more, especially books from previous centuries(Crimes of the Late Civil War by Judge Henry Clay Dean,1868, for instance)that you will discover for yourself some suprising historical facts. Yes, racism in any shape or form, has only survived by being passed from moron to moron, but the CFR, TLC,BBG, ATF,CIA (George Bush was not only cia, but, skull and bones society), NSA,etc., members are cut from the very same cloth and see themselves as the "lords" of the earth and see us as the "serfs" or slaves. Man, this is as old as the hills and just as obvious. Whenever the lords get wind of another organized attempt to expose them they simply infiltrate, identify the "fringe element", and encourage them to speak and act like morons for the media. This will usually take the wind out of the sails of any group that might have turned the herd. This herd,in our country, with their laziness and greed and addiction to comfort is the perfect bunch to lead around by their noses(sit coms,tv news,newspapers, tv ads,makes me want to barf). I am a Jew, and detect NO trace of anti-Semitism in the beliefs of the John Birch Society. I am not a member, but close friends have been - need I add that these friends are Jews? - and they have never so much as detected a single whiff of anti-Jewish sentiment ffrom other members, or the publications of the JBS.

You, sir, are full of it.

David Icke covers the "anti-semetic" smokescreen idea in his book: "And The Truth Shall Set You Free." A few highly-placed key players are jews, so the "jewish banking conspiracy" was created to discredit ANY investigation into the ways bankers control politics and society. "Suspicious of international bankers? You must hate jews!" This ploy is starting to wear thin. Read this book. Far from being hate-filled, Icke is a radiant new-age teddy bear. He basically says we should educate ourselves and eachother, and kill them with kindness. They can't win if we don't play. I'm all for it.

Slick is not my favourite person - the more I find out about him the more incredulous I become - I really would recommend that you read David Icke's last book "and the truth shall set you free" which covers the unknown history of the build up and manipulation of WW1, WW2 and Vietnam, etc., and perfectly sets up exactly what is happening now in Yugoslavia.

I have just ordered his new book.

I just posted a link to his site, take a listen to David on the recent March 29th Jeff Rense show - you will get an idea of where I'm coming from too - David is not perfect, neither am I, we are wrong on many things, but we are certainly on the right track and events playing out now are classic in view of historical precedents already set.

I have a lot of respect for David Icke's work,and his interpretation of a "Jewish smoke-screen" is right on target. The sad fact is, the world has been scared into believing that any mention of a Jew in a less-than-favorable light is akin to anti-Semitism... nothing could be further from the truth, but being labeled an anti-Semite these days is pretty much the same as being called a witch in the times of Giordano Bruno. It is an amazingly effective way to squelch the opposition, and indeed, the dark forces have gone out of their way to set up anti-Semitic "hate groups" that are nothing more than straw men to keep the whole charade going.
