8x10 Bauch & Lomb Protar from 1891?

A friend of mine lent me an interesting old lens, dated '91 (1891!) an 8x10 Bauch & Lomb Protar. The f/stops go from f/18 to f/90. It seems to have a focal length of about 5 or 6 inches, but no focal length is marked anywhere on the lens. It covers 8x10, very wide angle, as you might expect. No shutter, barrel only. Does anyone know anything more about this cool old lens? I'm using on my Deardorff 8x10 with great results. hello f18 mean that it is a wide angle protar . as zeiss b&l have to series and the f 18 one is the wide angle one. If you're lucky I think you could mount it on a copal 2.(not sure)
