What ia all the abbreviations about, such as, DGI, and GI?

Myaching: DGI-Don't get it (as in don't believe y2k is a problem); GI-get it (as in believe y2k IS a problem); DWGI-Don't want to get it (those who are too afraid to believe that life as we know it could collapse.); TEOTWAWKI-The end of the world as we know it (for those toughened by adversity already, it may not mean much of a change in life-style; but for those who live pretty cushy lives, even a slight computer malfunction may mean loss of life.)
