Wowie! Beautiful! Has a 3-d effect. Also, gives the viewer the urge to touch out and pet.

Excellent use of the light. The composition is also very pleasing, with the diagonal line from one ear across to the nose and the vertical line from the other ear down to the neck meeting nicely at the eye. Well do

A well done close up view of the deer. Excellent lighting effects.

I have a problem with lighting. My eye cannot get past the shadows of the bars. It looks like the deer was flashed through the cage...

I took this shot just a few minutes before the sun set with camera hand-held and no flash. The only lighting was direct sunlight through the fence bars.

I guess there was nothing you could do about bar shadows than. I still find them very disturbing, though. For me, they ruin this otherwise fine picture.

I agree with Andrei. The shadows remind me that the subject is a "prisoner" behind bars. Otherwise, this would have been a very nice shot.
