Colorado River, Bastrop Texas
This image was shot late in the day, looking down into the valley. It was one of my first attempts with a Kodak DC260 (digital camera).

Paul,

Great landscapes need great light and this light isn't. You have a potentially interesting scene, but the bald sky and flat light just don't do it justice. My handy cropping aid tells me that the most interesting part of the image is the left (cropping just to the right of the river). I would like to see more of the river itself, too.

Go back in early/late light or when a storm is clearing or coming in or something that gives nice light and interesting clouds to make a more interesting composition of this scene.
