Hmm, interesting.

Some parts of this are very authentic, including specific capability that has been built into specific ships, very recently, and are not known by the general public. If it's a hoax, then someone has gone to a great deal of trouble to include enough details to make the communique sound authentic.

Since I work on that capabillity, I won't say more -- except to say that the capability can only be used against fairly technically adept enemies. It would indicate that the training is certainly not geared to controlling American citizens.

Generally, the operation is a naval/marine support of a friendly nation against an aggressor who is known to have at least the capability of an Iraq. A lot of U.S. technology is being employed to negate that capability and to bring a quick resolution to the affair. The marines do their thing with massive naval support. That's all.

This is at least the third place on the web that I've seen most of this. I agree with the post above. If it's bogus, someone with a lot of internet savvy and a lot of access went to a lot of trouble for an obscure (to say the least) objective.

OTOH, DoD recently decided to alter a whole lot of websites for security reasons, and it may be that this wasn't intended to be openly available. It is however, clearly marked UNCLASSIFIED.

I find it interesting, consistent with the Urban Warrior information posted and in no way alarming.

Hardliner is right. You folks are getting paranoid. This is typical Navy message traffic. Kernel Blitz is a yearly exercise, one of many. Urban Warrior and cyberterrorism are not new plans within DoD. They are simply refining their fighting skills and technologies, as they have done since their formation. I work with these guys, they are not part of the NWO, believe me.

Having rather intimate knowledge of the naval message in question, I can tell you: (1) It is no big deal, (2) all exercises and systems mentioned are real, (3) it's all been public, nothing here is classified.

The military does exercises all the time. Kernel Blitz, the ELB ACTD, etc have been worked on for years. Third fleet is often the leader in most of this.

Again, all this is routine and nothing new.

Msg looks legit - exercise area (if true) is San Francisco, Monterey, Coronado (headquarters), North and South CA operation areas (sea-based support). Don't know where exactly the "urban assault" is to be.

Couln't figure out why they only wanted an SSN in support for 8 hours per day. If it is a "friendly country" (GREEN) where civillian casualities are to be evacuated as part o fth eexercise, then why worry about submarine threats? Just publicity? (Joint warfare - all the "J" code staff rats - like to involve as many different units as possible.)

If there were an "underwater threat" from neighboring country (or from other military threats from the "attacked" country) then it is not a friendly (green) country. The NRO (National Recon. Agency) is responsible for all satellite technology - this would be needed if the "urban wariors" were going to try to hook in real-time or "quick-time" to satellite photo's. Have to schedule the satellites, get feeds, handle the results, etc.

Yep, we gots 10 provinces and 3 territories, now (they split one of the territories into 2, though I'm not sure if that has officially taken place yet or not). No empty provinces, although some must look that way to anyone not from 'round here. Saskabush, eg, has less than a million people and an area of 251,700 sq miles. Lots of room, still coming for a visit in May?

I'm sorry, you are just wrong on this one.

My c.v.: 1st 30 yrs - Texas, next 15 yrs - Alsaka, last 7 - Texas.

You see Alaska serves as the perfect place to send all the misfits from Texas (yes, I know just how redundant "misfits in Texas sounds"). I served my sentenance. The let me back in.

While it did not change my basic philosophy or outlook, it did make me act nicer (mostly). I suspect the sentence as being a secret plot and any day now that secret society will contact me to let me in on the joke. If nothing else, Alaska serves to train a died-in-the-wool Texan that you will NOT die if the temperature gets below 40.

No, you are wrong. If you don't believe me, just visit Alaska. They (much to their chagrin) have a higher percentage of Texans than just about any orther unfortunate state around. This has also taught Alaskans a thing or two about how to seal borders.

Beside they do have that Texas-sized soda straw sucking on the North Slope.
