Honestly, this photo doesn't do a lot for me. Maybe it is because the goose seems to get lost amongst the vast expanse that this scene encompasses. I think that if you had perhaps gone with a vertical composition, and bit tighter framing to the goose I might like it better. Exposure seems to be right on. I personally think those clouds "rising" above the mountains directly above the goose are more interesting, but that's just my $.02!

I find the scenic portions of the image way overpowering of the goose itself. The very strong dark median line and visual activity above the line leave the goose flat and inconsequential. Closer would be better, too.

Is the area E. Washington, along the Columbia?

The vastness and the "loneliness" of the goose are neat. I would crop off the top (slightly above the dark stripe of background) for a more abstract and artistic view. There is an out-of-focus dark spot in the left fram (flying bird?) which should be retouched away.
