Local Cable Access,...

On the way to do some work-related stuff this morning I caught a news advertisements on the radio about TV doing a spot on Local Cable Access...the nuts and the information mavens. Got me to thinking. I'm gonna check out what's involved,...maybe my little S. California community insomiacs could use a little Y2K info and prep on their cable.

Anyone have ANY experience with local cable access tv?

Hi Donna. No experience, but I think a good idea. I think every cable station must provide local access as part of their "charter", but I think the format of this access varies widely. I'ld suggest giving your local co. a call and see what gives. <:)=

Donna,

Actually that's a good idea.

YEARS ago, I hosted four one-hour interview segments on local access TV in San Jose, CA. It's very easy. Go to them with a plan, speaker ideas, and chances are, you'll be able to do it.

I also have several friends that "swear" by it, for marketing information, in So Cal.
