ANYONE HAVE GOOD IDEAS RE HOW TO SELL AGFA 1280 DIGITAL CAMERA, MEDIA AND ACCESSORIES, PERHAPS ON LINE WITHOUT USING AUCTIONS? ALSO HOW TO PRICE SUCH IN GOOD CONDITION... JUST LOOKING TO FINANCE PART OF COST OF NIKON 950

You could just try a "For Sale" posting here. Also, the source of this great discussion-group software is photo.net (http://photo.net/photo) They cater much more to conventional photography, but also have a much larger readership. Finally, one of the best could be to get on the newsgroup rec.photo.digital. People there could give you recommendations for a reasonable selling price, and you might also find a buyer. (Although the rec.photo people tend to be more oriented toward the current high end, so maybe less likely to be in the market for an older camera...) Pricing will be tough & painful: The value of digicams declines pretty rapidly over time, given the furious pace of innovation in the market. The 1280 was a good camera, but I suspect $400 for the kit would be optimistic, $300 probably more realistic. Check around though, and definitely get other input as to fair price! Good luck!
