Another nice shot. The colors are great the counter balance between the pedals of the flower and small green leaves is nice. The leaf in the upper right bothers me a bit. Love the leaf fallen in the center too.

The sharpness and color are faultless. The rectangular composition isn't comfortable for me, especially as it clips the flower. Also, the leaves in the upper and lower right side are distracting. Thanks!

I echo the comments already offered and would add that I particularly like the fact that the subject is one which shows the blossom well past its prime, including all the "wear and tear". The dew covered leaf in the centre and the contrasting greenery are big plusses.

Love the colors, the center green makes the match. I think the image would be stronger if some of the leaves had "blown" out of the frame

Perfect exposure for a nice composition. I'm glad you resisted "tidying up". The red in the bottom right hand corner would bother me if it were not for the other fallen leaves in the pix; but as it stands, it works IMO.

Nature is a constant stream of birth and death and it is good to see this reflected in an image rather than the constant run of perfect flowers and scenics. I would as an aside like to question the no hand of man limit in this forum, man's effect on the natural world has been profound and I think it is a valid goal of the nature photographer to show this. Common sense is obviously required i.e. no cat on the mat shots.
