Mike Hyatt has a new Discussion Group

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Mike Hyatt just started a y2k discussion group on his website.

Address: http://www.michaelhyatt.com/discuss.htm

Some of the folks on this NG should pop over there and help him jump-start the thing. Hyatt has a lot Mom & Pop, non-technical followers who would benefit greatly from the knowledge and insight evident here.

Don't think so. This site wants you to register, and reserves the right to disclose your true identity whenever, and to whomever they want.

Hyatt's site also has a new essay about Y2K half-truths which is very good; info from it can be used when the typical Pollyanna regurgitates happy face "facts" about embedded controllers.

Hyatt's discussion group is much more unwieldy than this one. Not nearly so easy to maneuver around in. Add in the private info they want from you to register and my interest in it plummeted. Linda

Y2K News Magazine has an interesting site, but they can find out where you live in a heart beat, and you don't even have to register.
