Just Need To Know...

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I was wondering what countries are working on the Y2K problem and which countries are not.....

I think this is where we will have our biggest problems in my opinion and that is the idea that if all the other countries are shutdown...It will take a SERIOUS toll on ours...even if we are ready!

PLEASE RESPOND....ASAP!

Pmm,

This is a good link to answer your question. The World Bank loans a lot of money to developing countries and they are genuinely concerned about their possibilities of being able to recover it. It is for this reason that they are most likely to know the true status of these countries, and also why they are doing their best to help them get through it. At this point the majority of developing countries are far behind and very likely to have problems, so they are concentrating on a "triage" approach, making sure that at least the most basic systems for survival will function.
