Polaroid back for EOS

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Canon EOS FAQ forum : One Thread

I'm using my EOS-1N for studio work and would like another EOS camera with a polaroid back. I've heard such backs are available. I'll be shooting all-manual, so a less expensive body will do. Do you know of any backs, and what EOS model would be good to use?

A used EOS-1 is probably what you need. The NPC back fits it. Each will cost you $600-$700. B&H Photo (NYC) sell the back.

Hi,

Personally, I prefer the EOS 630/650/620 because they are cheaper than the EOS1 (used or new). You don't need a EOS1 to do Polaroid tests. The only drawback is no 100% viewfinder coverage for these cheaper cameras. But then again, the Polaroids are primarily to check exposure, right?
