Can anyone out there help me to find an english language version of "I shall spit on your graves" in the format of the stage play?

Is there an extant version of the play in English for UK English or Us English ?

I shall spit on your graves Tam Tam Books

Dear John Paul, I know a French language version for theatre exists, because Cismaru (1974) writes: "The following year, 1948, is indeed an eventful one for him, for it sees not only the birth of his daughter, Carole, but also the publication of Et on tuera tous les affreux by the newspaper France-Dimanche, as well as the presentation of the play version of J'irai cracher sur vos tombes." Vian apparently translated his novel himself and this may be the version that is currently available online from www.amazon.com Be warned, though, Jim Sallis notes that this edition (Tam Tam Books) is very sloppy. I have yet to get my copy which is still in the post. Matt O'Neill wrote a screenplay version for a film which has not eventuated. Unfortunately I do not have the French Language version of J'irai cracher sur vos tombes, in any of its forms, novel, screenplay or play. Bes

Speaking on the behalf of TamTam Books, the translation I used for the book was actually translated by Vian himself. The TamTam edition is the same as the French 'English' edition. Also it has an introduction by Marc Lappard which puts the book (and the story behind it) in its proper perspective

I would just like to repeat my original request for information leading to the staged version(s) of the text. As any contributors will note, this is the second request for information, and the fact that I am still searching for the text after two years is evidence of my real interest in Vian.Come on can anyone help me?

John,

As far as I know I have never ever seen an English version of the play. I don't think it has ever been translated into English. If you do find one, I would be interested in seeing it too.
