Are there any art schools in Hawaii? If so, did Teri attend any formal training or is she just naturally an awesome artist? I love your work. It is absolutely gorgeous and the type of thing I like on my walls, clothing, etc.

Answers

There is the University of Hawaii for formal training. The Academy of Arts and some of the community colleges offer noncredit training. Teri started drawing in 1979. She is mostly self-taught, but has attended the Academy of Arts and taken private lessons on a continuing basis from Louis Pohl who is one of Hawaii's Living Treasures due to his paintings of the volcanoes.
