gosh - I'm really making a mess of posting here today!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread

I was trying to say: I asked on mamedev already & Nicola's not into it. I tried to post this link, where framerates were discussed on Dave's board: http://wwwboard.tmk.com/mame/2070.html I said I thought it would be worth including framerate in .inp files, even though it can be faked by people with the knowledge. I then included this text, from Nicola on mamedev: >If I were to modify MAME to store the current framerate in the .inp file
>that is written as you record a game, and to display the stored
>framerate during playback, instead of the actual playback framerate, What's point. If people want to cheat, they would just have to recompile MAME. And don't say it's too difficult. There are step by step instructions available. Any idiot can do that.
