I've heard descriptions of real solerization, not Sabattier, and wonder how to do it.

In this forum, see Real solarization of white or shiny objects.

The easiest thing to do is to solarize the sun. The last time the sun was out, I tried, but I didn't give it enough overexposure. (Seattle area got 13 hours of actual sunshine this month). The negative did show that I was going in the right direction, though.

I bought some Kodak Verichrome, as it's an old emulsion, and I figure that it will have one of the best shots at succesful real solarization of something. Have to wait for that sun, though.
