And one more time....

Garry: Although it is a well-exposed image, it is missing the elegance and beauty that I associate with most most of your previous postings. Looking forward to yout next image! Bahman.

As Bahman said, well-exposed (the snow has a "cotton-candy" look to it and the bluish background sets it off nicely) but not a strong enough composition to grab my attention. The lack of depth-of-field, with some of the bottom snow being out of focus, also bothers me.

Thanks, Bahman and Barbara, for your input. I now realize that I was too caught up in the appearance of the cotton candy in the sunlight and didn't give the composition sufficient thought. I do want to re-visit the subject when another opportunity arises. If anyone has a good shot of a similar suject I'd appreciate a pointer in its direction.

Thanks again.

Worthy subject Garry. I think the next one would be better just a little less hot. The "cotton candy" look that you want is reduced by the exposure in that area. If it was down a bit you would see more detail there.
