I am interested in any information and photographs pertaining to the logging railroads and shortlines of Mississippi. Have built a large historic data base and photo archive on the subject in cooperation with three others who have joined forces to research the subject.

David, this isn't really an answer so much as an offer to put your request in the Three Rivers NG Historical Society's magazine LIGHT IRON & SHORT TIES, which I edit. Mississippi is not an area I know well but I know there were n.g. lines there, both common carrier and private. If you could e-mail with a fuller description of what you're after as well as a snailmail address, I'll put something in our next issue.
