Information on Brouillard-ridge

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Mountaineering : One Thread

On the Italian side of Mont Blanc are a few very nice ridge routes. I would like to try Brouillard this summer, from Rif. Q. Sella. Usually one climbs up the 600 metre ice couloir to reach the start of Brouillard (I believe this is called 'col Brouillard'). I would like to climb the rock ridge to the north of this couloir. Anyone did this? Other recent information on the Brouillard ridge is welcome! Thanks. Pedro.

This route is very seldom done because of the length and somewhat broken rock.
