Y2K impact on production/service industry

I work in the food production industry, mainly with perishable goods. Besides the obvious of having PC's Y2K compliant, what other areas are we exposed? What preperation can be taken that will allow us to be ready?

I'm sure that you've already thought of this, but you should probably find a way to maintain refrigeration if the power goes out. After that, everything gets more complex. If you're in management and you're only asking this question now then it's probably too late. Try to find out if your suppliers are Y2K complient, if they aren't, try to find new ones. Try to make sure that employees can be paid in the event of future bank runs. It is very difficult to buy a generator at this late date and the likelyhood of a business keeping enough cash on hand to pay its employees isn't very good. So... Hmm... Have you considered becoming religious?

brownouts can burn out motors in a matter of minutes. Volatage sensors that are set to break the circuit at lower voltage could save the motors.
