An Eerily Prophetic and Unforgettable Article

Five years ago, Robert Kaplan wrote an eerily prophetic and unforgettable article, "The Coming Anarchy," for The Atlantic Monthly. Would one of you kind and clever people please hot-link the URL for this old duffer?

Laughing my derriere off, Andy, though unable to roll on the floor these days. I've lost some bits here and there due to advancing age but I still have my sense of humour. Thanks.

Try it without the 3 in www3:

What an extraordinary article. A fascinating look at the world from 90 degrees out of my usual point of view.

Thank you Anonymous Old Git for the reference.

Glad you liked it, young whippersnapper. It's lengthy but please wade through it, y'all--even without Y2K the article gives indications of possible disruption in the various raw materials supply lines. Numerous reasons here to keep food and fuel on hand. (Print it and give it to your DGI friends.) Another point of concern: the Electronic Telegraph today talks about Saddam having another Kuwait-type op up his sleeve.

Old Git (thanks, Andy)
