California, PG&E downsizing?

If this account is confirmed, I think I'll consider beginning to be nervous. It should be easy enough to check out, if you live in Los Angeles. Call 'em up, ask a technical question, see what happens.

Been meaning to post this for awhile, but kept forgetting about it. This seemed as good place as any. I was over at my friend Sean's house a week or two ago when they found the bomb stuff at PG&E. We were watching CNN (as we often do) when they talked about it. Sean's mom started to laugh a little bit and I gave her my usual look of "What in the world" (you have to know her to even begin to understand her)

She went on to explain to me that when she had Sean, her husband was in the Navy and stationed in San Fransisco. Well while they were there (1971) PG&E was the victim of several bombings. It seems they were not a very "nice" company and people would take their flustrations out on them. For instance, she had pad the usual deposit when they moved in and she explained they were Navy and could be moved at any time, they said no problem as they were quite used to it. No matter how long she had been there she would get her deposit back. Well low and behold, after 6 months, it was time to ship out. When she called and told them she was leaving they said she would not be getting her deposit back because she had not been there long enough! So after several days of arguing they agreed to give her deposit back. She parted company with them by saying "And you guys wonder why you keep getting bombed"

I had to laugh at that one. Again, you have to know her.
