Did you hear from Martin Weiss, respected publisher of Y2K alert & newsletter writer that if you include credit union, fe found in his survey that as many as 6576 credit unions, banks, and S&L's are significantly behind schedule in Y2K repair? I only got a promo copy. Does anyone subscribe to his newsletter or will order his Protect your money rating of banks? Has just a little info about legal threats against him at my Y2K site at www.geocities.com/hotsprings/villa/3388. If I hear anytrhing, will post it on my Y2K section.

ARLINGTON, Va.-NCUA has issued a legal opinion letter that states Y2K reports issued by the state of Wisconsin compiled from state chartered CUs are exempt from Freedom Of Information Act requests...

...There was some controversy last year in Wisconsin's Department of Financial Institutions as a former employee claimed he was asked to falsify Y2K status reports sent to NCUA.
