My wife's subscription to "Country Woman" has expired. She would like to know if any of you ladies (or gentelmen), on the forum, have a suggestion for a better magazine covering back to basic information.c

Countryside magazine has excellent homesteading information. They are also providing information in light of Y2K. I have heard that Backwoods Home magazine is a good source.

For back to basics, I like these magazines: Mother Earth News Countrysides Rural HeritageI have found these to be full of information. If you can find the earlier editions of Mother Earth News, they are an excellent reference as well.
