The web page quotes $15,00 for a 60 pound sack of wheat. He just called the house and said that he has lowered the price to $10.00. They also carry corn and choak choak soybeans

While we're talking bulk purchases, does anyone know where to get 25lb or 50lb bags of rolled oats - the kind you cook for oatmeal or make granola. Seems like there's got to be a better way than buying it in the grocery store, but our Sams doesn't carry it.

I don't know if there is a difference between rolled oats and hulled oats, but you might want to check out this link. http://www.mv.com/ipusers/nestorehouse/

I found a lowcost source of food grade corn and soybeans in central Nebraska. Buy it Direct from the producer. E-Mail zz@hamilton.net (Gary Hansen) You can pick it up or He will ship to you.

Bob's Red Mill in Oregon carries a very complete line of grains and beans. The firm has distributors in many cities. Their printed catalog is outstanding.

Sylvia, We just ordered 2 50 pound bags of organic thick rolled oats from a local health food store that advertised a sale at 69cents a pound. They are giving a 10% discount on top of that for buying it in bulk amount. Just looked at the Bob's Red Mill site - good prices and products but if I can get these products in through the Health food stores without paying shipping...... Good Luck, just check around! Oh yes, then I am taking them to the Mormon cannery to can. I can buy oats from them a lot cheaper but they are not thick nor organic. Diana
