Interesting, if feels like the subject should have been the mountians on the lower left because they are the only thing that has interesting light, and they are croped out of the photo which sort of ruins it. Exposure looks good, how did you get the high viewpoint?

Thanks for looking at it Tait. I reposted it because I was not sure that what I see on my LCD laptop is what other people see on glass crt's. Decided to use Keith's calibration strip so I will get it right. You may not like the exposure either now! It was early morning with the sun just splashing the tops of the mountains, the river valley was in deep shadow. That is the first thing that attrached my attention. The second was the snake like shape of the river and the matching backbone of mountains that follow the river from left to upper right. I really wasn't focused on the lower right at all. As far as light, I was seeing the tops of the all the peaks lit up. I may have cropped it a little too tight even for what I was trying to get. The view was from 30,000 ft out the window of a jet. It is probably close to a 100 mile view. Maybe it is just not interesting enough?

Interesting just not composed so as either the mountian or the river valley makes a statement, every thing else looks good though.
