Aerobic Oxygen/Stored Watergreenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread |
Is aerobic oxygen a legitimate treatment additive to put in a 55 gal drum for long term storage of water? No mainstream authority such as Red Cross or FEMA mention this product as a treatment for stored water. Can water be stored longer than 6 months without being rotated with fresh? What is the time frame of long term storage of water and what additive has to be used to keep it safe for this period of time. Is Areobic Oxygen the answer?
